Going to be putting a uego in my car soon and just wondering how safe it is to mount the connector from the sensor to the gauge underneath the car as shown in this pic? The tutorial on the site shows it done this way and I just want to see if anyone else has done it like this? I am kinda worried that water could spash up and short something out in the connector.

Ok, well today I put my uego in. The wire between the o2 sensor to the plug was not long enough to have the plug up inside of the car, so I just mounted it underneath. It seems to be fine so far.
 
be glad you kept it outside the cabin. You'll be glad you did when you replace that sensor in 8 months.
