My AEM WB arrives today! Anyways, I have a question. Every post I found had someone using ECM Link but since I don't have it, can I install the sensor in place of the primary o2 sensor? Do I splice into the o2 sensor plug or go directly into the stock ECU?

My car is a '95 GS-T btw.

Also, where do you mount your gauge? I have a 3 cup pillar, but its used for Boost, Oil Pressure, and EGT. Any other recommendations?

You can, make sure you set your wideband for narrowband sim. Turn the setting on the back of gauge to the right p setting.

Ok, I will put it in the o2 housing then. Any disadvantages to having a narrowband setup?

I was looking into something like this:
OBX 95-99 ECLIPSE GSX GST GAUGE POD CLUSTER BEZEL 52MM | eBay

Not sure how it looks installed or if its visible with the steering wheel blocking some of the view

You can also put it in the REAR o2 sensor location, but you will get a cel. Put the WB gauge somewhere else like the cig lighter, radio area, or center vent.

Do you know anyone who makes custom center vent pieces? I wanted to know if they could leave one vent installed and just make a single gauge cut out.

I'm mounting mine on the steering column with a autometer gauge cup. Looks damn good and can't see wires.

I'm also using the rear o2 port. I deleted my rear o2 with the article on vfaq.com. doesn't throw a cel. I recommend not having a cat or it will mess with afr's

I'm not in the mood of breaking any federal laws. I've gotten pulled over 1 too many times just for window tint, having a loud exhaust + no cat is not something I want to deal with.

My only concern is where to mount the gauges. I remember being in a car with the 3 gauge pillar and I had a hard time reading the gauges while driving (at least the very top one). I might do the dual gauge by the steering wheel, one for boost and the other for AEM UEGO. Then get a 2-3 gauge setup in the center console for Oil and Fuel Pressure and EGT's. Still not what I want. I'd hate to give up both AC vents in the center.

Then I saw systems like HKS CAMP2 and something called InformTouch from GReddy. You plug the sensors into this device and you have a single device to read everything from. I kind of like that idea as most people won't look at gauges for daily driving or especially drag racing. I feel the gauges are more of a tuning tool to have anyway and to occasionally monitor while on the road.

My DEFI setup was priced around 1,400 for 4 gauges and the Control Unit, so spending 400-600 on a HKS or GReddy one-fits-all solution plus sensors isn't going to cost more.
