I've read and read and can't find what I'm looking for. My tach isn't working we tried wiring to soo many different things and can't get it to work. My Aem twin fire has a tach(square wave) output is there anyway to wire it into the stock tach ?

why dont you just get a aftermarket one.... not likt themonster ones... i mean a decent one
The car is really clean and I don't want to change that. I tried the tach signal from the ecu and I only get half of signal needed for the correct rpm

Check if you have the noise filter plugged in or if its even there. It's located on the intake manifold stay, just behind and under the intake manifold. It plugs into the wiring harness running along the back of the manifold.

I have it and its plugged in. I have a 91 ecu. So I think I'm gonna have to do the power transistor swap. I was trying to avoid it if I could, but doesn't look good.
