My recently bought 1996 Eagle Talon TSi converted to a GSX, has the stock ecu in it. It was 550cc injectors and and MHI Big16G Turbo on it. The previous owner said that the AEM EMS V1 needs hooked up to it so it runs fine. When i brought it home i put the AEM EMS in it and it wont fire at all. With the stock ecu in it. The car idles at 3000rpm and the A/F Ratio gauge is at 19.6... i need help...any suggestions???

Your air fuel is most likely due to the 550s and not being compensated for I don't have any experience with aem ems on the other hand, so hopefully someone else can chime in

Ok thanks ill try to get ahold of some of my friends. See if any of them have a link v3 setup laying around LOL. And i just looked at my aem ems. It doesnt have a configuration uploaded on it. So maybe that's the issue... :/

honestly if you're asking these questions, the EMS isn't the best option for you. you can SEVERLY damage your engine if you dont know what you are doing with the EMS. Sell it and grab an SAFC. Learn how to tune that, then move on to DSMlink. you will probably never need the EMS.

If you have the right arm ems for for your car it should have a stock tune preloaded that will at least get u started. Try checking out the aempower forums. Lots of people out there willing to help.
