stock tach not working...

My tach has been jumping around a lot here lately and today has basically quit. I can still read rpm's on my logger but the rpm's do not show up on the tach or my avcr. The avcr is wired at the ecu. Where should I look for the problem? Thanks. Shawn.

I found where the maft rpm signal was tapped is where the problem was. The splice that was provided with the maft actually cut the wire.
