Tach doesnt work, where to do i start checking, just got done installing engine did i forget to plug something in??

Same thing happend to my friend's car 90's have a noise filter that is bolted on the back of the intake manifold that you probably forgot to plug in or it is now missing. once we found one we plugged it in and his tach works. I bet that is your problem. :thumb:

That's my car that 91AWD was talking about and the noise filter is a part that only 90's have. I had to buy a new one. It was a cheap fix though. :D

Okay, I have the same problem... I checked the back of my intake mani. and found an unplugged connection. The problem now lies in that I don't know where it plugs in. If at all possible, could someone get pictures up so I can see if I even have the right connection and where the tach plug is? TIA
