Would someone help me review my log? There are a few things that don't make sense to me here.

1) The O2 sensors show way off, a lot different then the in car sensor shows. Are they calibrated wrong? I don't want to change them if the EMS uses them to adjust fuel values at all?

2) I don't get why the idle is constantly high?

Thank you for your help.

That is a wacky O2 reading in AEMLog. A few more details would help as far as which WB unit you're using. What does the external unit read?

If you have the AEM UEGO:

Turn the car off and disconnect the wide band sensor from the harness.

Turn the key on and the gauge output will read 14.7 with the sensor disconnected.

Open AEM, the O2 reading should be the same.If not, try re-configuring the AFR units(I.E. select AFR methanol, then reselect AFR gas if that's what your using).
Double check the wizard for the WB being used. You may have to select something other than what you are using, and then reselect what sensor you are using. In addition, you may have to adjust the O2 gain manually.

As far as the idle issue goes; you'll have to adjust the Idle Target Base if that is too high for you. Then do some tuning of the Idle% vs Target Table.

I can't tell you what wideband I have as I just got the car and the PO doesn't know. I do have an AEM A/F gauge so it's reasonable to assume it would have to be an AEM wideband?

I did notice in the o2 setup that there were a couple of choices to choose from, one was AEM and one was AEM UEGO. I noticed that just AEM was checked, should I try switching to AEM UEGO?

The external unit reads good, 13.5-14.2 at idle depending on how warm it is, 14.7 cruising on the highway etc.

I'm confused how the last tuning shop would have tuned the car with the o2 sensor reading the way it is? This is all leading me to believe that I need to take the car to English Racing in the near future and have them set everything up correctly. It's quite expensive from them though so I was holding off.

Does the o2#1 channel in the software match your guage? Are you using AEMPro or AEMtuner?

No it doesn't. o2#1 in the software shows 6.96 to 7.5ish while the gauge shows 13.5-14.3ish.

AEM Pro is what I'm using.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!

If you have the AEM UEGO gauge the wizard should be selected as such.

I don't believe that it is anything the the shop that tuned the car did wrong. It is a bug or hiccup in the AEMPro software. I've had the issue happen to me personally.

Any thoughts on why my gauge reads afr correct and ems does not?

Just open AEMPro, and re-configure the the AFR units and you should be fine.

Thanks much for the link! I'll give it a try and see if I can get it to work correctly.

I've been reading through the AEM manual on my spare time today and i'm just concerned about the tune as well. Don't get me wrong the car drives great but has some idle problems at times so i've been reading up on how to set the idle.

Mine is no where close to how the manual says to set it. The learned value is at a constant -30% which I believe is the highest it can go from the current settings. From what i'm reading this means the idle was not tuned correctly?

I'm going to spend some time tomorrow and just follow the manual and see if i can set it any better to help that learned value get closer to 0.
