Hey everyone I've been looking around for the top products and I know that AEM UEGO is one of them.

I also saw that on the forums, there's a group buy to purchase there gauges for boost, oil pressure, water temp, etc...for $179. Compared to the $230-$250 retail.

I was wondering since I don't want shortcuts and don't want manual ones, but electronic ones, if I should go with the AEM Boost Gauge and AEM Oil Pressure.

The total for those two and AEM UEGO (everything included) is $603.00 + shipping (I believe)

Just trying to make a sweet setup and to have the pod pillar all match.

I don't know much about the AEM gauges, but for that much money I'd be getting Defi.

I got my UEGO new for $200 on ebay and I love it. I personally don't think I could justify spending $600 on gauges though when I could spend half as much on different gauges that do the same thing and put the rest in a DSMLink fund! But, if you have money to burn or you really want your gauges to all match and look sweet go for it. They really are great gauges.

Go with prosport. They are awesome looking. If you like a light show, it does a little introduction at start up, and there 40 bucks a piece.

Gauges are gauges, I dont understand why you would want to spend 600+ on AEM. There are plenty of gauges out there that have a good reputation just like AEM for a third of the cost. No one is going to look in your car and think your the next best thing because your running a whole AEM setup. Spend it else ware IMO.

Exactly, at least to a point. Autometer's will do just fine. They should offer full electric versions of everything. Water temp is electric anyway, oil temp is electric on most guages, oil pressure and boost are the only 2 i'm unsure on, but you can look them up just as easily as i can ..google autometer home page.

The difference is that a $70 electric gauge isn't full sweep (near useless resolution) and a $200 electric gauge is full sweep. Step up to a $250+ electric gauge and it probably does peak/hold/alarm/record to.

You're saying go for the full electronic aem setup?

Yeah I understand how the money is a bit high, should I just get the UEGO now and just hold off on the gauges?

The engine won't be dropped in the car any time soon. So meanwhile I can just put the rest of the $400 into the engine or suspension setup.
