Alright here's the deal....I bought an AEM AFPR, 25-302. It came with 3 different fittings that go INSIDE the regulator. You take apart the diaphragm and screw one of the fittings in.

The fittings are black, silver and gold. Each one is a different size...black being smallest and gold being the largest.

So which fitting do I run??? I am running a 255hp Walbro and 550's right now but will be upgrading to 1000's in the next coupple of weeks. Anybody know??

No. This comes with the regulator. It is a fitting that goes inside the regulator itself for the fuel return. The black one is installed from the factory, the silver one had a bigger opening and the gold one is the biggest.

As you can see, the silver one has a restrictor in the middle of it, the gold one has no restrictor and the black one that is already in the regulator (can't get a good pic of it) has a smaller restrictor than the silver one.

In the instruction manual, it never specifies what to use....it gives the dimensions of each fitting though:

Black - .100"
Silver - .150"
Gold - .200"

It goes on further to say that "the size range provided is enough to cover any pump from a stock Honda pump to the largest aftermarket pump available."

I want to say I will need to use the gold, but I have no idea....I am running a 255 Walbro and RC 550s right now...soon to be 1000s. So....?

I've come to the conclusion (especially after J Siebles selling the GEMS to them to become the AEM EMS) that AEM will do whatever it takes to confuse the hell out of the customer and make things sound and read way more complicated than they really aare JUST so you HAVE to have it done/installed/tuned/tunred on at a authorized AEM dealer ( i know for fact that is part of what's behind the goofy ass confusing terms on the re-marketed GEMS EMS) but geees it seems like they do it with everything now days

I wish i could help, but my first AEM AFPR didn't have all those and this time i bought aeromotive for the fact that they are more widely spread through more markets so parts to service it should be cheaper and more available

Can anyone send me a picture of the return port on their AFPR.....I have a Fuel Lab before this and sold it on the car.

Should have kept it. I want to see how big the return port is on other AFPRs so I can compare it to the AEM

I decided to just put the gold colored fitting in. I have my 255 Walbro and I am dropping my 1000cc injectors in next week, so I think I will need the maximum fuel flow I can get.
