Advise on engine rebuilt

Its time to rebuild my engine

I did a search on 2G vs 1G pistons
but i would know whether the 2G piston will be suitable for me

I run a 50trim turbo
560cc EVO VI injectors
1.5mm MMC Metal Head Gasket
My boost levels are around 1.6bar which is about 23psi
I wish to stay at this boost level as I am running on RON97 pump gas

Will the 2G 8.5:1 compression give me gains instead of the 7.8:1 1G pistons
or its just a waste of time
I currently run the a GVR4 (1G) Head + 6 Bolt Block + 1.5mm Metal Gasket = Sluggish on low end

Definitely go for the higher compression pistons. They will help your off-boost response.
