Just installed a Greddy RS bov and love the way it sounds, but its not working its magic on mine. :(
I have it really loose and still doesnt make any noise, should i tighten it down and see if that helps?

Im pushing 14psi, stock rubber intake and its recirculated.

I'm not getting what you're asking here.

What do you mean by "not working its magic"?
You say you love the way it sounds, but then you say you're loosening and tightening it, because it "doesn't make any noise".

The stock rubber intake will be quieter on any recirculating bov though when compared to a hard intake pipe.;)

So, if you want to simply hear the bov more you might want to consider going to a hard intake pipe.:)

+1^ Also, the RS didn't seem to be a loud bov at all. Plus mine started leaking at 6psi after 2 months.

It's an authentic Greddy.

What I meant by "not working it's magic" is that it wasnt making it's authentic noise that it's know for.
The stock intake might be the culprit, thanks.

I hope you are recirculating it.

Function>form. Have you verified the internal springs at all and even checked the diaphragm. Perhaps a boost leak test can help you out here do determine if the diaphragm is bad before tearing the whole thing apart to inspect.

+1 on the hard intake pipe, stock 2g intakes are garbage.
Youd dont want the spring to loose, or else it will be open at idle and could give you some problems, tighten it down to where it lets off a strong sound, too tight and it will surge a bit.

Did you open it up and see what springs in it? this can affect the sound/performance of the bov.

I run a tial bov, proven to not leak, buy for performance rather than sound...
