I know this is a very very often asked question about adding a turbo to a non-turbo. but I couldnt find the exact answer I am looking for.
I own an 99 Eclipse GS (Non-Turbo) (Non-Spyder). and was looking into adding a turbo into it.

I know if I was to add a turbo to my car it would be best to replace pistons and etc.
But for the time being I am just wanting a turbo, but I don't plan on flooring it right away so I am only going to be using like 6lbs boost. I know I will need new injectors and new fuel pump to keep up with the turbo, but Will it be safe if I took it easy and didn't race it without making pretty much the whole engine aftermarket.
Would this still ruin some things?

I would definatly go with a lite tune and a wideband o2 make sure you get a a/f gauge as well just to be safe.
