But you don't live in Tallahassee, Gainsville, or a big traffic city... I used to live in Orlando and its just a hassel to fight with the 2100. It really is a left calf workout... In ATL it takes 2 hours to move 10miles... Don't get me wrong, once you break your leg in, and get used to the release point... its not that big of a deal...

The 2100 imo is your best bet, but that dosen't mean it dosen't come with some downfalls... If you live in Jackson and... thats about it for Mississippi, you;ll be fine.

Yea its not bad in mississippi. Besides dodging cows and horse drawn buggys. My county even has two paved streets!

I travel from Clearwater to Tampa 5 days a week. Traffic out the ass.

Well I ended getting the act 2100 with a 6 sprung plate and then this flywheel from MAPperformance that is still using stainless steel like the OEM one but weighs about 10-13 LBS less so its still durable but a lot lighter

I ended up getting the 6 puck act with 2100 pressure plate and a flywheel thats still made with the same stuff as oem but 10 LBs lighter. So should I replaced the TOB with the fork and what not or just buy an oem tob?

As said above get an OEM TOB, pivot ball wouldn't be a bad Idea.
I wouldn't necessarily say replace the Fork but at a minimum check it for ware

Also what Flywheel did you get exactly?

ACT 2600 is perfect for that amount of power, but its sort of stiff, the 2100 wont last that long if you drive hard and have over 300whp

Just remember, the stronger the diaphram, the more pressure/stress you are introducing to your engines thrust bearing. Instead of using an inferior clutch (a clutch that utilizes extremely high clamping forces) purchase a multiplate clutch. Many people have great success using 2100 lb + clutches, that is until their thrust bearing eats itself. Don't think that because you have a six bolt that you are immune to crank walk, a cheap clutch will have your 6 bolt crank walking faster than you think.

What are you basing your opinion off of? I'm going to completely disagree w/ you. This is my 3rd 2100 on more than 300whp and haven't had any problems with longevity or mechanical errors... No disrespect, but that comment is completely biased and presented with no factual evidence. I've never owned a 2600 tmk, and I can't tell you a damn thing about it. But I know that the 2100 is rated up to 450whp and has a lot of DSM;s engaging and disengaging all over the country

Pretty much all true - except the doom scenario...
Sorry bro, but this post detracts from the discussion, you're not off the wall but you've added a considerable amount of unwarranted uncertainty.

2100lb w/ Full Face Plate Torque Capacity: 322

A clutch for people looking to put down some good power. We recommend this for wheel horsepower of around 325whp or less

How bout you drop the attitude, and maybe do some research yourself. HAHA 450whp on a 2100, sure good luck with that.

No attitude man. Just telling it like it is. No need to get butt hurt because I disagree with you. Think you need to recognize something here buddy. I'm basing what I have to say based off personal experience. You're going off second hand knowledge. Never said I had 400 hp. well over 300 for 50,000 miles on DD cruiser driving it pretty damn hard x3. nice mod list as well.

Thanks, but i had an over 400whp 1g and had an evo i have been around the dsm world for a long time, and this is my new project. Your not telling it like it is, your coming up with numbers and i am showing what they are. Theres no need to come after me for giving an opinion, the op said he wanted between 300-400 and the clutch i thought that was best was the 2600, end of story. The 2100 isnt as strong as the 2600, and depending on how he drives he might have wanted a stronger clutch, he went with 2100, whatever its done, btw good luck with fwd.

I am telling it like it is. 3 builds of 300+ whp on an act2100. Those are builds I'VE done and had no problems w/ the 2100. How am I coming up with numbers? You are writing something you have read and take it at face value. Not going to get in to a pissing match about this man. I know how long you've been here. You'd think someone thats been here as long as yourself wouldn't be getting pissed over something as trivial as this. Think you should be a little more open minded on other's ideas and opinions. When it all comes down to it, thats all the op wanted, was our opinions.

TY on the gl for the fwd. I'm about where I'm happy. Back at you on the xwd and the build
