I installed an act 2600 w/ street disk and fidanza flywheel in my six bolt stroker swapped 95 awd talon. The clutch pedal feel has been much stiffer than stock since the install and i was very pleased with the clutch. Now the engine and clutch has 6000 miles on it. last weekend i was diving in normal circumstances and came to a stop. upon engaging the clutch, the pedal feel changed to a very soft feel with lower than stock pedal effort. Since then, it has stayed this way. The clutch engages and disengages normally but does not have high clamping force like it did before (as it should). it will slip if i try to launch it, make power in high gears or try to power through turns. I am confused as to what the problem could be. It is as if the clutch plate has lost a significant amount of clampin force. I dont beat on the clutch (beyond normal awd spirited usage) so the clutch shouldnt be takin a dump yet. Could this be a result of a failed master or slave cylinder? I tryed bleeding the system and it changed nothing. I also have a stainless clutch line installed. Any suggestions are appreciated. I want to rule out the possibility of any hydraulic failure before i pull the tranny to check for a mechanical failure

it is possible that your slave or master have given out some pople have to use exstended rods to get it to enguage correctly but thats not your issue are you sure touqred everything correctly? didnt beat on it at all let it break in? i would check your slave and master also did you get an ss clutch line? my pedeal felt kinda odd untill i installed one it was stiff but soft at the same time

i believe i have solved the problem. I think the slave cylinder piston is stuck in a partially extended position, holdin the clutch partially disengaged. It is very strange. I am gin t replace the slave and see how i goes
