I just put the act 2600 in my gsx and adjusted the clutch so that it did not engage right off the floor. I started to drive it around, after a while I noticed that the clutch engagement changes by itself. Also while I was on the freeway I went to speed up and the rpm’s went up big time. I have not launched it YET or been aggressive with the car. I did get a new flywheel from road race. Please let me know if something is wrong.

Yes, something is wrong. Glad I could help. :p

You might have the master rod screwed in too far and the master isn't releasing pressure.

it did it again this morning the engagement is perfect when I first get in the car but after a while on the freeway I have to let the pedal all the way out for it to grab. there is no smell or noises. I dont know what to do. Is this normal for a break in period?

So the clutch engagement point is changing while you drive? Was the old clutch doing anything wierd like that?

A brand new clutch might slip when you roll on the throttle if you're making enough power. As it breaks in sometimes the engagement point gets slightly higher, but it takes a few hundred miles to do it.

the old clutch worked normal. this one does too if the car is cold. I drive 50 miles to work sing the freeway. the little way to the freeway the clutch is normal but when I get off the freeway after that 50 mile drive the clutch engagement moves all the way out. it is wierd. as far as the slipping it is not doing it anymore. I have been going very easy on it. I tried all of the upper and lower adjustments that road race says to do but still I have the same problem.

Ok I fixed the problem it was the upper adjustment on the clutch had to back all the way out. Thank you for your guys help.
