I recently installed an ACT 2600 Pressure Plate with the Street Disc and Fidanze Flywheel. Installation was fine. However, I have bled my the clutch lines over and over but I am only getting around 3/4 pedal release. If I stomp the clutch in hard and release fast, it will pop all of the way out. Normal shifting will leave the pedal engaged. I haven't tried replacing the hard lines... I believe they are all still intact from the tranny removal. Any idea would help!

Correct. It doesn't fully disengage. I have to either A: pull it up with my hand, or B: stick my foot underneath the pedal and lift it back up.

I think your pedal assembly is worn out. Mine did that when I put my 2600 in, I replaced the master and slave cylinder, and installed a steel braided line. None of that fixed it but when I removed the pedal assembly I found that there was to much slop in it and I welded it up and now it is great.

I welded it up and now it is great.

Are you refering to this tech article? I thought it was 1g specific because I started to perform the procedure and my pedal assembly looked completely different than the one in the pictures, so I abandoned it. I'm having the same problem and it really sucks...:(

My slave cylinder is practically brand new. I guess my next guess will be the master cylinder or the pedal assembly. My bro had the same problem and adjusted the pedal assembly... (dad broke his LOL) So I'm going to make sure I have a really good walkthrough on it. Thanks for the help guys! Keep it comin'!

Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to do anything yet to my pedal problems. I have been convinced that it still needs to be bled more. Three man job trying to be beaten by two. I still have awhile to do this as I am still in need of 1-2 2g rear AWD axles. ( Anyone have any for sale? PM me! ) However, I would like to get this done ASAP to let me know if it is anything else. Does anyone have a walkthrough for a 2g clutch pedal assembly adjustment? I may go to this next as I have read up on that a longer slave rod is just a "band-aid" fix for worse problems in the future... So I want to stay away from that at all costs.

I bled the clutch extensively and it finally rid me of my clutch issues. My rear axles will be in later this week and I will be on the road again!
