I think it's finally time to upgrade my clutch. I actually bought a fidanza 3.2 around the time when the came out and just never got around to installing it, but now reading all these horror stories about them I think I might just put it up on ebay. I also have the fidanza flywheel and I have narrowed down my decision to two clutches (in title) and I'm basically looking for something that can hold up to some high speed highway abuse, but other than that i don't really plan on launching it much at all because this is only a street car. My mods are in my profile and I don't really plan on going much bigger than what I have now.

SBR 3500 was a great kit as far as im concerned. Never had a problem with it on a higher powered evoIII car. Both handle approx the same hp and torque.

I loved my ACT 2100 with stock disk. Had it for about 5k miles and it was great at the track, no slipping whatsoever and I would sometimes hop lap the car. Pedal pressure was nothing, too. Plus you can find the 2100 pressure plates all over the place for next to nothing!

I had a 2100 also. I loved it, but since I haven't had the 3500 I can't really say which is better. But I can say if you go with the 2100 you won't go wrong.

I've had both the 2100 and the sbr3500. I have the 3500 now. The act 2100 was great, lasted forever(65k miles, I replaced it when my transmission died and it still looked great), but was shitty in daily driving traffic situations. Not bad, just something you have to get used to. The sbr3500 feels more like a stock clutch as far as pedal pressure and the way it engages, but holds power, probably a bit more than the 2100. Only thing I don't like about the sbr3500 is it doesn't like heat. If I slip it a little too much it takes a few minutes to feel like normal again.

LOL. I've had several street disks and, yea, the feel is the same. Now a puck style will be different. But not the pedal pressure.

I was told the sbr 3500 was about like act 2600. I've had great success with this PP. It works especially well with my current 6puck sprung clutchnet disk. This is by far the strngest clutch/pp combo I've been a ble to run that my wife has no issues driving.
