Not sure wut I'll be runnign for WHP.. but my mods are.. Big16g, Full 3in Exhaust, Front Mount Intercooler, 550cc Injectors , Fuel Pump ad tuned with an SAFC.. I getting the clutch done too just not sure wiether to go with the ACT 2100 street disc or the 6 Puck disc.. I'll be using the car for daily driving, street and the naybe a couple track visits in the year.. I was just looking to get some input of what the best one for me to go with..

Thanks,
Ryan

FWD or AWD. If you are stuck on the 2100 I would go with the street disk since you want to have it as a daily driver. But personally I would go with the 2600 with a street disk, especially if you are awd.

Ryan,

A 2100 with a Street Disc works like a champ and holds enough power to go 11's. Take care of it, break it in properly and it'll last a long time.

Good luck!

Andy

Stay away from the 6-puck the engagement will be extremely harse for daily driving you will end up removing the tranny and putting in a street disk anyways.

I'd go with the street disk and the 2600. Honestly, the only reason to go 2100 is that you are a wuss, and can't handle the pedal pressure. Oh, and it's not that bad, really! I'd honestly consider the 2600 one of the best clutches for a daily driver that i've ever had. Precise engagement, easy to feel, all kinds of good stuff.

Oh, and for break in, beat the crap out of it. That's how mine was done, and after 25k miles, some drag racing, and some "goofing off" on the street, along with "tuning runs" the disc still has plenty of material on it, and grabs like a mofo.

How does the Street Disc feel? I had the 2600lb pressure plate and the 6 puck on my Integra GSR and it wasn't too bad... But I guess for little girls and babies you could complain..

street disc for sure. I recommend thinking about your long term goal first because if you plan on making major hp and tq I would just buy a 2600. Why upgrade twice right?

I was only able to run 12.4 with my 2100...then it started to slip in higher gears....time to upgrade.....awd thought...i would recomend 2600 or c/f dual friction.....

What would you guys recommend for my GST? I'm looking for a good 350 maybe slightly higher, DD, some autoX, some drag, and lots of spirited driving?

It's really not that heavy. It's nothing like an old v8 truck or muscle car clutch feel- those are quite heavy.

Honestly, it's not that much heavier than stock, and the engagement feels so nice, I can't help but to recommend it. :D (2600 w/ street disc)

i run the sbr 3500 clutch and i love it. supposively it has the same clamping force as the 2600 but the pedal pressure of the 2100.

2100 with a street disc, and is there a proper way to break these clutches in?? Would just driving normally being real nice to your car do it???

the sbr 4000 is nice too

Id recommend the 2600 with sbr 3500 disk though for moderately modified cars. The pedal pressure is not bad at all. Also the sbr disk is much higher in quality and will take the abuse better.

But if your stuck with the 2100, just pair it up with the sbr disk.

Ever consider a 6 puck srung hub disk?

The sbr 4000 is what i use in my dd and its very streetable. It holds all 590 of my hp.

robs90tsi... Just a few hundred miles of NORMAL, EASY driving is fine. This means NO LAUNCHING!

I notice too that your from grayslake. Im over in round lake. PM me, well meet up somewhere.
