Accufab throttle body

I have a 92 tsi awd i plan on runnin a scm 61, dsmlink, 1000cc injectors, supra pump...sbr fmic, jm fab intake manifold...my question is...is it worth going for the aftermarket 3" throttle body or should i go along with the stocker....my plan for this car is around mid to high 10's

I have the JM Fab SMIM and I am going with a rebuilt/bored TB from www.o2induction.com
Great deal for $140. includes O-ring shafts to stop leakage and the boring will bring the TB opening to 2.5" which is the most common IC piping. I am talking 1G which is 60mm and he goes to 63 or 63.5mm which equals a 9-10% increase in flow. Mark
PS: The JM TB hole is 63.5mm so it may need a bit of dremmel grinding so the TB plate will not get caught up.

Take a look at this guy too. He has done a lot of GN TB's in the past and quite afew DSM ones. Just another $.02

Has anyone had the 65mm bore done which removes the thin lip that I believe is part of the idle circuit? www.throttlebodys.com can do 65mm and www.o2induction.com does 63mm and leaves a thin lip. I would like to go with 65mm but what are the consequences, if any? Thanks, mark
