So is this a fix? Has the bigger shaft broken for any of you guys yet?

I am guessing a lot of people don't have it, but it has been working for Albert and if you look at his design you can see why it is far better.

I remeber searching accufab throttle bodies and reading a handful of reports on broken butterfyy shafts. I guess I thought some people would be using this since because of the failures.

Accufab actually recently upgraded the shaft design I am told. I have yet to had to order a new one lately since changing springs in the BOV.

The whole idea of doing a shaft that is slotted down the middle is to add strength to the shaft. so that it can take more abuse. http://www.dvdtfab.com/accufabsucks.htm

That's surprising because when Albert told them about the flaws in there origanal design and how to fix them they basically laughed at him.

yes they have been upgraded, i got my accufab 75mm TB in today from v8power.com. it has the shaft slotted in the middle for the butterfly and on the bracket for the cable theres a plastic attachment for a throttle cable that looks like the same as ours.
