ac/heat vent whistle

why do the vents whistle when the heat or a/c is on high ?

Mine doesn't whistle but on my previous gst it did. I would assume it is in need of recharge soon.

I notice if i close the passenger side vent it goes away. It has something to do with the connection of the vents i think

If it cools good then i wouldn't even worry about it. I'd assume it's probably just some rips or leaks in the air ducts.

I would try to ignore it but it is so annoying

Try moving the inside/outside selector lever.
