heat/ac green light blinks

after the shop replaced my water pump my heat/ ac button flashes at me. what could this be. it does it every now and then. i think my blower motor is squealing, could this be maybe the reason. i will try to explain better if i can.

Just coincidence. That's an LED inside the switch, and probably not really repairable if it's going bad (do failing LEDs blink?). It might be a loose connection though- to get to it, pull the radio/HVAC bezel and stick your fingers up behind there. You'll be able to feel it. To replair, find one on eBay. Make sure you get an Eclipse or Talon switch, as the Avenger and others isn't a three-stage switch.

If the AC light is blinking it means that there is a problem with the compressor. Check the belts and connections, have the compressor tested. It may also be low on refridgerant.
