Ijust installed a slim line fan for the engine fan. I was wondering if i can wire the ac fan to the engine fan so I can have both run at the same time. The ac doen't work in my car but heat does. My stock gauge is at the halfway point for the temp. If so what wires from the ac fan would go to the positive and ground..( I think those are the wires.) blue and black are the two wires on the slim fan. and i wired the engine fan to those, so can i wire the ac fan to it?

Yes this can be done, just make sure that for the radiator fan you wire the high an low phase to the fan. Then just jump the powers and grounds over to the a/c fan. Google the topic, an it should pull up a great write up for ya.
Thanks,
Jake

so in other words just run the wires from the a/c to the engine fans power and ground? i dont want a switch like what i got when i looked at it.

and then one from relay to relay?

No! What he's saying is to wire one fan to the low output and the other to the high output. From factory your fans have two Speed modes. Now since you remove them to put these fans they only have one speed. So like he said wire one to the low speed and the other to high. do a search on how to wire the fans.

Just make a jump, from the LOW TEMPERATURE WIRE (at the ECU connector) to the HIGH TEMPERATURE WIRE ( at the ecu).
This two wires triggers the relays for the Fans.
The LOW TEMPERATURE WIRE (from the ecu), triggers only one relay, this is when the engine starts to get hot.
The other TEMPERATURE WIRE (at the ecu), triggers 3 relays, this is when the engine get to Hot.
This are the 3 relays that are triggered when it get's to hot.

The high speed for the engine cooling fan (this is a positive Line going from the relay, to the Fan).
The High Speed for the engine cooling fan (this is a negative Line going from the relay, to the Fan).
And, The High Speed for the AC cooling fan (this is a positive line going from the relay, to the Fan).

So, If you get those 2 wires together (High and Low signal from the ecu), they will turn ON all 4 relays and will make turn ON all the fans.
Except the Low speed for the AC fan.

The AC FAN, is a two speed (low and high).

The High speed is for the engine cooling, and the low speed is for the AC only.

In my 2g, One wire is green with black stripe and the other wire is green with orange stripe.

Check out the ECU pin out and look for the two wires and make a jump from one to another, and you are all set.

Hope this helps.;);)

Sorry to bring this up again but im getting rid of my ac system soon and wanting to re-wire the ac fan to the rad fan, but im getting a little confused on what the correct way to do this, ive read about 10 threads and watched a few youtube vids but still lost as everyway is different, i dont want to start cuttng near the ecu so is there another way thats safe? Also if there is a write up with pics would help alot. As i cant find anything but maybe my search is limited as to the words im using??? Who knows, any links and help would be good

Thanks bobby
