after looking through oh MANY threads on removing this, I find all info for 1g's and threads started back in 2003.

My car was a 95 AWD TSi, but was converted to a FWD (dont ask me why, I didnt do it LOL).

I am trying to clean up my bay to make it easier to work on the more important issues for future. I removed my wheel and see they have a bunch of things zipped tied up and not even connected to my brakes. Im wondering if thats the provious owner do the abs delete, or if it was part of the AWD to FWD swap. I just want all that weight and hard lines out of my bay. Please help, if you can identify that the previous owner already did the hard part, and I can just yank the whole unit from my front timing side, that would be great.

hmm, well I was hoping that with the lines zipped tied up, that meant I could yank that cluster of hardlines and whatnot.

NO! You cannot cut the hard lines. You will lose all brakes. You need to get a proportioning valve from a non abs car, then remove all the lines that are in there now, and make your own lines or find very good condition ones off of a non abs parts car.

the line you are holding in your hand looks like the abs sensor thats suppose to go to the hub. here's two links ive been looking at. i bought the abs delete kit from stm. trying to save time in bending lines.

Eclipse Non-ABS Conversion

heres another talking about the harness itself.

Removing ABS harness? - DSM Forums: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Plymouth Laser, and Eagle Talon Forum: DSMtalk.com

I have tried this first site and I live in MD and the funny part is the prices of whole thing was $495 yeah the number is $495 of course a dealer price. I went to the local junk yard and I have bought the whole thing for $25...yes $25.
I would rather use a hard line than the steel line hose because the hard line wont expand in diameter which will change the volume of the tube throwing the pressure in the system.

i pulled all mine out of a junkyard car and cleaned them up. Most importantly is the non abs prop valve you will need also. if your going to do the full swap its much easier with the engine out but it cleans the bay up alot and makes some nice room.

heres a pic of what mine is looking like
