About to install raditor question

I just got my new radiator for my 92 talon. Now my car has an external tranny cooler but the radiator i got had one built in, do i need to plug these holes? Ive had some overheating problems with the old one so i was wondering if the internal tranny cooler is taking away from the cooling even if its not being used.

You should put caps over the holes to keep wasps out. It being in there will have no effect on cooling. Many manual trans cars are running AT-cooler radiators, because that's what the shop got as a replacement.
