that i should know about? this is my first time ever doing one, i have the service manual and TSBs regarding the mls head gasket. i want to make sure i do it right cause i dont want to go through the process again.. so thanks in advance.

ps: its a 420a 97 eclipse rs. im changing it cause there was external coolant leakage.

Do everything by the manual and you'll be fine.... OH! and triple check your torque on the head bolts to make sure there all right and done in the correct sequence! Were here to help if ya need anything!

also... make sure to take note when you remove a whole bunch of bolts from something (anything) if there are different sizes and/or lengths which one goes where... I'm thinking specifically about the lower timing cover on the 4g63, and how I made the mistake of not paying attention when i removed it the last time :ohdamn:

go slow and take your time. if you think youll have trouble remembering where things go (i.e. vacuum lines) mark them so youll remember (colored zip ties, tape with numbers on them) make sure you clean everything and you follow all torque specs.
