? about dsm link and chip replacement

ok i was wondering when i get dsm link do i need to also buy upgraded chips from like dsm chips .com or does dsm link have every thing that the chips have like rev limit, fuel cut,dead time compensation. stuff like that or does dsm link have it already built in to the system
