Hey guys! I’m going to embark on a journey of changing my main seal due to a leak. I have a 1996 Eclipse GS with a Chrysler 420A and Chrysler A604 41te automatic transmission. I had some questions about the removal of the transmission and the access to the main seal. Is the torque converter connected to the flex plate or the transmission? As well is the flex plate the only thing I have to remove in order to access the main seal?

So I’ve been doing some reading on the 41te differential pin breaking causing it to completely destroy the case as it rotates. I’ve seen pictures of wings that hold the pin in place on newer models and I’d like to install these on my differential as a safety precaution.

On the differential where the many bolts are… what is the torque specification of those bolts?

As the titles says I’m looking for the 41te pinion gear bolt torque I cant find much and I’ve done as much research as possible but I don’t have a definitive answer
