A/t idles smooth in park but shakes horribly when on gear

Hey guys I'm moving this to the proper section.

Ok I got a junkyard gst that I rebuilt. It's a 96 gst. Only upgrades that might affect this is poly motor mounts and I have dsmlink as well.

So I got her running she purrs like a kitten in park revs perfectly and blows off. But once I put it in gear any gear doesn't matter which one it starts to shake violently and I drop it around my backyard and it just shakes the car apart. But if I shift back to neutral or park it smooths out perfectly. I changed the trans fluid and filter and cleaned everything up when I rebuilt the motor

Ive got solid mounts and on the auto it does shake alot as its engaged unlike the manual ones, but also check that no bolts are loose aswell as this can happen,

whats your idle at when you put in into gear. also does it ease up when you drive it as mine does from about 15-20+

Idle stays around 700-750. But will the shake be completely non existent while in park and 100% when in gear. I mean it vibrates a total 0% while in park/neutral

It will do as its not engaged! in a manual the clutch is pushed in nothing is engaged but on our autos as soon as you put in into drive it engages so its always going to vibrate when in drive and not when in park, mine is the same and I live with it! either take the tranny mount off and put an oem one on or get used to the vibrations
