A little help with 5 phillips screws on throttle body

I'm trying to replace my FIAV. I pulled the throttle body off in just minutes, now I cannot budge the phililps screws that hold the FIAV to the throttle body. Besides an impact tool, which I do not have, anyone have experience getting these off without damage?

Jeez, every time I do something on this car, it takes three times as long because of stripped bolt, rusted studs and no dang room to work! :thumbdown

PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench.
They're your friend.

I shot them several times with PB, but they're really torqued in there. I need more power to get them out, but they're so damn easy to strip...

edit: I used a hammer and chisel to knock them loose and then backed them out with the screwdriver. Didn't strip any--worked like a charm.

An impact driver would work even better.

I'm sure the impact driver would work better, but we need a new compressor tank, so I couldn't use one. I bet most dsm'ers don't have it either, so these little tricks will hopefully help someone later down the line.
