Good morning... well Short story but i bought a 91 gsx a week ago to add to my collection and it had been sitting for 9 years now. i did the normal tlc, freshed up the motor and head, all gaskets and went to fire it up and no fuel, I had put 5 gallons in there earlier. so i check the tank, and pump, then i pulled out the fuel pump and its covered in a 1/4 " of the old gas slim.... no joke. its nasty,
so My QUESTION IS .. has any one had this problem and whats the best way to clean it out, with out useing a case of carb cleaner
i was just going to presser was it but, thats a little 4" hole plus the drain to get every thing out of.
make since... thanks
pic coming asap
