I have thsi A?F meter which got like 5 wires. 3 wires in a set and other 2 in a set. colors are grey, black, red together in a set; other 2 colors are red and black w/ red stripe. I follow instruction to install them but only show 3 wires connect to ECU. It wont work. Pls help...what other 2 wires need to connect to any thing?

I check all that connections and none loose. I jump start it and it turn on, then drive for like 2 min then start loosing power, all lights went off, still driveable but light got dimmer and slowwly loose all power. Could it be alternator? My car work fine before installing boost and AF gauge. Any ideas? Shall i took off thsoe gauges?

Sounds like the alternator or a serious grounding problem. Check your battery terminals for solid connections - not just tight, but clear of any debris that could be between contacts.

Usually the battery will not die that quickly from a failing alternator, but if it was already weak then that's likely it. Don't forget to check the belts before ripping everything apart. ;)

*SLAP* No! Bad, tsi009! No bumping! Go to your room! You better delete that before a moderator catches it.
