New set-up on the car first time back out driving the car in 4 months .

Evo got lots of new parts but the driver was mis-firing behind the wheel !

Anyway got some useful data and car was running well w/o any major hiccups.

The car is back on the dyno as I type getting a few tweaks to the tune

When I get to the shop later today ill try sand do a little walk around tour of the car for you guys.

I remember you saying you need to work on the launch. A little more 60' work and you got it. God job man.

Ya not do driving the car let alone launching it in 4 months really screwed up my timing plus with the bigger turbo it needed a little change in the 2 step which we sorted out last night!

A nice solid 1.4X 60ft time will really show what the car can do

We'll see if the changes made a difference tomorrow!

Bettered the et, 1/8 & 1/4 mi. mph slightly but still ran into some new issues we tried to sort out there.

Finally got it figured out but ran out of time to make more passes so the best pass was breaking up but went:

You got that right playing with cars is very enjoyable and rewarding but NOTHING like staring at your own DNA for hours upon end

That's a big compliment with all the other well built Evo's out there Phil i will try not to disapoint this coming year bottom 9's first and then we'll see if we can prey upon the 8 sec barrier!

The 1/8 mile is insane. Like you said, you drop that 60' into the 1.4 arena and you may be 6.0 to the 1/8.

Glad you got the 2 step where you want it. Now it's just the seat time. Are you trying to heat the slicks at all?

Also, looks like you have the dragstrip to yourself

This time of year it gets cold and most don't come out to TNT days due to the price so a lot of times you can get out there and really get a chance to dial in as you please.

yeah, for sure! Watching Pat's car hit new best times gives me the itch for more power. I think it's time to ditch the 16g and get a big turbo on my car.

I'm def verry happy with the 1/8mi speeds being consistently in the 119-121mph range with the easy launches i'm hoping it will come up 1-2 mph with a more aggressive launch!

I haven't been heating the tires much lately as again really haven't spun the tires off the line w/ my technique but when i get after it if they do i will do a quick burnout like before:
