Hello all,
I have a couple questions about my dsm. I am currently rebuilding my 7bolt with wiseco piston, eagle rods, complete overhaul on the head, ARP headstuds, cometic head gasket. My question, I have a borg warner T3/T4 turbo should i spend the money and get me an exhaust manifold for that application or just go with my 14b, and if i do go with that setup what else am i going to have to upgrade? Im already getting the dsmlink v3 lite, anything else I may need?

My other question has anyone had any luck with the punishment racing FMIC piping from them? I have a kit already but I think its an Ebay kit please let me know what you think

That depends. If your car is all stock besides the pistons and rods then there are some things you might want to upgrade. Let me know what all you have on the car that's upgraded and I might be able to help you out better.

Right now the engine is out of the car, I currently have no after market parts on it, Im in the planning stage right now. (until the weather gets a bit warmer then breaking everything down) I think im going to bolt on my 14b or look for a big 16G. but as you can tell, I am new to the dsm world. I want to do everything right the first time, even if that means i have to sacrifice some horses until I get the money to do things right. so any info I can get would be great.

Well if you're going to want to run higher than stock boost with a bigger turbo there a few things you want to get. You'll want a wideband gauge so you can keep an eye on your air/fuel setup. Also, you'll want to get a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and a walbro 255lph fuel pump. You should probably go ahead and upgrade your injectors as well as your mass air flow sensor. Some guys run with a maf translator and a 3" GM mass air flow sensor, but it depends on how much money you want to spend. Umm...I can't think of anything else off the top of my head right now so if any of you other guys have some input, please help out. And good luck to you. :thumb:
