I bought both the tuning books to give them their fair shot and will start taking a look this weekend.

I have had both of these books for awhile and they are fantastic. I have read through them multiple times, and in the midst of reading them again because I am building a megasquirt and tuning a fully built sr20det in the next week or so.

I just ordered both of them from Amazon.com. I hope that they make it understandable. I have always wanted to have a better understanding about tuning, as I have always understood fuel maps, but am scared of "timing maps" Tom, thanks for bring this back.

the advance tuning book rocks. just saying. almost done with it, and have learned a lot.

some of his opinions are kind of weary, but other than that, i have learned so much more than i knew.
