99Auto ecu to 95man ecu. What should I expect?

I heard I will be able to brake boost now. True that the manual ECU will now allow me to do this?

Flip that around.You WONT be able to brake boost.Only a manual ecu alows that.
 
It's actually true. The A/T ecu mapping has differences that prevent brake boosting. A manual ecu doesn't have the same mapping constraints. It has nothing to do with the TCU. It's ignition-timing and fuel mapping.
 
That's misleading because it doesn't matter if the Ecu came from a manual or auto turbo dsm because whena car is auto, the transmission is controlled by the tcu not the ecu.
