iight 99 GST wanna do 12.5 in 1/4 mile..what mods would i need and suporting mods would i need 2 do this.....thanks

stock GSTs will do 14.9 with a good driver. But for him to get into the 12s he is gonna need:
-50trim (25psi)
-3in turboback
-660cc
-DSMlink
-slicks
-LSD
-front mount
-nice suspension
-ported mani and 02
-nice race head

You're crazy, I think you need to research alittle more. Since when do you need a" race head" and "50trim" @ "25lbs" to run 12's? Hahaha. :tease:

thanks...but i dont wanan go into the 14 or 15...that just crazy..i'm going all out...i seen a video of this guy doing 12.8 and after that he raced a M3 not sure if u guys seen it...it was a silver GST converable....
 
Running 12's isn't really going all out. No matter what e.t.s you decide on trying to run just make sure that you do plenty of reading before you take a wrench to your car.

First of all there is such a thing on here as spell check. And I think he was just saying that you should go for 14's or 15's first so you can learn some about you're car, learn how to drive a car that is a little faster than stock versus a car that is allot faster than stock, learn that as you get faster it is harder to go even faster, and make sure you really want to go 12's because the faster you go the bigger chance you have of breaking something.
 
first off, do your homework. you dont just start out by spending 3k in parts and expect instant 12's. there are alot of things that must happen to reach 12's, and fwd is going to hurt you big time.

hard upper IC piping(100)
better bov, recirculated a must(250)
front mount IC(300-800 depending if you can fab a kit yourself)
ported evo16g@20-25psi(600)
sbr manifold(300)
tubular o2 housing(120)
3" downpipe(150)

3" catback(300)

650cc injectors(250)
255lph fuel pump(100)
aeromotive fpr(300)
DSMlink(youll need a 95 eprom ecu and a laptop)(600 for the program/cable, 300 for the ecu, and more if you need a laptop)
alcahol/h2o injection(? forgot the price of the kit)
ACT2100 clutch(350 i believe)
good front tires(toyo proxes are great)

and last but not least,good driving. you cant have a 10 second car with a 15 second driver.
 
You need shocks and springs, lsd, slicks,16g,front mount with short route upper intercooler piping,550 inj,255walbro fuel pump, fuel preasure regulator,plugs wires, and dsm link for tuning, modified 1st gen bov,k&n intake with injen pipe,short throw shifter will help also, 2.5 exhaust with 02 dump, but before you do all that change all gaskets and belts send your head in to get hot tanked cleaned etc. clutch and flywheel,aand port your exhaust manifold and intake this is all I had to run 12.4 at 108mph driving will have alot to do with it too good luck buddy :thumb:
