The 99 cobra wheels im not sure. But the XXR 535 wheels are a 35.

Some friends helped gut the rear suspension assembly, exhuast , and fuel tank.

the 95 rust bucket talon gives up its lsd rear end and suspension. It needs alot of clean up!

I got 2 mazda miata seats and 2 tubular rear upper control arms from a pick n pull and paid 60 bucks for all of it. The seats will be a later up grade, and will be re upolsted in a tan leather. Why did i pick them? they are realy light!

Well i decided on the spoiler i am going to use and to give it a true talon look im going with the talon high rise spoiler. It will need work for install but as u can see in the pictures the fit isnt that bad.

So fresh so clean. Progress is looking good and she should be a beast when you're finished. I love that you are doing the talon swap as well. Awd Spyder + talon body + black = boss . I am interested to see what the talon high rise will look like on a spyder.

The body work other than the awd conversion is still a way off. Im still striping usable parts off the talon donar car and cleaning and painting them and freshening them up up with gaskets and seals. My wheels should be at home when I get off of work today!

The XXR 535 showed up. doing a test fit with the 13 inch rotors and their is plenty of room for the willwoods

Thanks guys... The majority of the car is apart and in cleanup mode. Most of the parst from the doner car are off eccept the fuel tank and those parts need cleaned up aswell. Granted I have a lot of new parts for this build but somthings need to be resused and cleanded or rebuilt.

Nice build. Isn't that wing the wings west aftermarket wing? It looks a bit different than I remember the oem wing looking. It looks to fit much better.

No it a talon boomerang wing. ( the talon high rise) The reason it probly looks diffrent is becuase it is moved all the way back. The boomerang ends mount on either side of the back glass insted of at the base.I have it moved back because this a covertable with a trunk and im trying to use as much of the unique talon parts as I can.

Well i got some time in on the spider this evening and all the rear end stuff is broke down and ready for clean up and paint. I also did another mock up of wheel and braking setup and it looks like i did good . Their is plenty of room for the rotors to breath and alot of room for the 6 piston caliper to do its work.

Nice build so far. Def subscribed to this thread. I recently got myself a spyder, so I'll be keeping close tabs to this build.


Loving the wheels btw, I'm seriously considering getting a set for my spyder. Any idea or numbers on the weight of the wheels?
