What is wrong with yours? As far as painting mine, I havent decided yet. but im along ways from body and paint. The closest I am to that is the engine bay while the engine is out. I am going flat black in the engine bay, its a industral paint used on fork lifts and heavy equipment, Its supposed to be tough as nails.

Ah now i see it. Just fix it and body color it. Atleast its not a 2012 lsa camaro. The factory carbon fiber insert for thos run 4,300 bucks!

Well my willwood big brake kit showed up today.I still have more parts in bound,and now i can put the wooah in the go! The parts in the pick are small part of whats going into this build, goto my profile and see whats in the list. This build is current to date and all this stuff still needs to be put on and the list is still growing.

I was bored at work and restored the talon headlights. my method is to reclear them. i start with 320 grit paper and work my way up to 1,500 wet. the 320 makes short work of rock chips , but be carefull u will dent your lens.the clear is a fast auto body clear and dont use the spay can junk. Let them air dry. If forced dryed the clear will react with the plastic cuasing checking in the clear.The same can be done to the taillights and side marker lenses.

Might be hard to see in the picture but the previous owner took his car to a shop. The shop failed to latch the pins, hood flew open on him while driving home. Huge cracks on the hinge areas and big cracks on the middle vent area. Now that I told you, you should be able to see them.

Well I had planed on getting the engine bay tore down but ran into some snags. 1 forgot my line wrenches at work, so the lines next to wheels wouldnt come apart were they meet the hose. 2 the front bolt to the suspension crossmember started spining in the frame rail, so i could not get the nut off , go figure it would have to be the last bolt to lossen up to screw up. 3 Was going to weld a smaller bolt to the boltthat is spining in the frame rail, but my welder wouldnt turn on. So i traced it down to the breaker box and the breaker is shot. It will have to wait till mon after work.

Drive shaft shop stage 2 axels showed up today at my door a few more big ticket items and down to the little ankle biter stuff.

I managed to get the engine bay gutted. Most of the seam sealer stripped inside and out,using the crud buster . Por-15 in all the seams and coated the wheel wells completly. Then seam sealer and spray seamsealer. followed by flat black paint.

After checking fit of the caliper and rotors, on the 99 mustang cobra wheels. Fit was spot on but i didnt like the looks so i decide to change out and order the XXR 535 17x8.25. the 535 will give me more air space around the brakes and are lighter than a factory cobra stuff.

Front and rear camber adjusters arived today, along with throttle body gaskets, fiav block off plate and egr block off plate. oh im still waiting on the head the trans and the coilovers. so next on the car is the awd rear swap stuff.

I got bored while waiting on parts so i demoded my guages. They had apc indeglow overlays on them so i was returning them back to to stock black guages, while taking the overlays off i noticed they were covering factory silver gauges.

All the innovate digital gauges showed up. Combo oil press and temp ,Combo coolant temp and volt, Combo boost and shiftlight, and the AFR gauge. AFR and boost gauges will go on the a pillar while the other 2 go on a instrument bezel , The bezel came out of the parts car.

Evo 3 oil filter housing showed up today along with a air oil cooler. the coolant lines that went to the original filter housing will be diverted to the water cooled waste gate.

Stage 4 trans from jacks. new ebrake cables,the donar car cables were shot. Areotech latches,mid timing belt cover, Arp balancer bolts, brake and clutch foot pedal rubbers. Once i get the head and koni setup parts are gonna start flying on!

Well i finally got my head back and did a micro build to see what it would look like. Next weekend me and some friends will start putting the engine back together! Now the wait is on the struts and wheels.

Well i have been busy getting ready for the engine build this weekend painting some of engine stuff. The head,intake,fuel rail,and throttle body are painted in vht high temp silver.
