Stop focusing on 99s. Find anything about 2Gs.

some 99s have the charcoal canister back by the gas tank.
nope eclipses prior to 98 had them in the engine bay, 99 for sure has it at the gas tank. i have pictures. i'm trying to delete the system myself as we speak and have been looking for more info on what needs to be capped, vented, and removed. any help would be appreciated

huh? My haynes manual says different. I have a 99 and mine is right below the driver side head light.Come on people, this is not that hard, 98-99 GSX have it up front behind the bumper, while the gsts have it where the gas tank is.
So much misinfo... So wrong
Anyone???
I know it's in the tank, I pulled the tank already. Can I just cap the 3 ports off or do I need a blockoff plate?? Also where does the fuel cutoff go???
There is a lot of misinfo and I thought it was deleted in my car until I pulled the tank. I wish I could just find a 98 tank and filler neck.
