99 gst egr in gas tank question

long story short I had to pull my gas tank and it appears my egr is located there. My question is what can I block off and remove??? Here is the top of the egr...

That's the charcoal canister. You can remove the whole canister if you like or block off the hoses using the right size bolt to cover the hoses to stop dirt, debris, etc. getting in.
 
The EGR is located on the left hand side of the intake manifold. You can use a small hose to connect the two nipples to each other or if you want to remove the EGR, you can buy a EGR block-off plate to cover the EGR valve. I'm sorry I thought it was the egr. I guess it's the charcoal canister. I'm gonna remove all lines on the bottom of the car and block off the holes on the canister
