So before summe rgets here Ive been doing some maintenace and noticed that my A/c is not turning on properly. Worked perfect last year.

Symptoms: I can turn the a/c on in the cabin and sometimes i can hear the compressor click and other times i cant. Driving down the road I cannot fell the compressor kick in. It sounds weak when kicking in. hardly audible and the Rpm's dont drop to terribly much. Any ideas guys?

my Ecu has been reflashed but it worked fine before and after that.

check the resistance in the clutch connector, check volts and amps to the clutch. hook up a set of manifold gauges and check you pressures. the refigerant might be low enough to perform poorly but not low enough cut off the low pressure switch.

you could also use an external power source and put +12v to the clutch to verify that its working properly.

Before you do a ton of checks, just double check your fuse...It's stupid i know, but for some reason, my car loves to blow A/C fuses. Just 2 cents before you go crazy.

Like these guys said, check the fuse (and ac relays) first and then check the charge of refrigerant on the system.
