Wassup guys I got a few questions. I'm changing the front left CV axle because the boot was busted for some time and eventually started making noise and on top of that the intermediate shaft bearing mounting bolts busted.

I’ve bought an axle of Rock Auto that doesn’t include the mounting bracket, will I be able to get away with using that?

Also the stock axle measure about 37.5in but the new axle measures 38in but in the description says it’s compressed length is 37.5in I feel like that half inch more will cause problems? It's really hard finding parts for this car and if cannot use the axle and I have to only replace the outer CV axle. Is the snap ring to get the inner CV joint housing off underneath the seal plate or in between the outer dust shield and housing?

That RockAuto pic is the wrong axle. It is not a GSX drivers side axle.

It should look like this
Notice the inner cup does not have external splines
