Okay everyone i seen a video on youtube and a guy had his upper hose wrapped like in the heat wrap for headers. Now does this help keep it cooler? If so my talon's upper hose gets pretty big. I also seen the like metal hoses for the upper radiator hose with the blue and red on the ends, where can i get one and would it be better to use that then the rubber one i have?? Thanks

From my understanding of header wrap it helps to keep the heat in the item it is wrapped around. So, you will feel less heat coming off the radiator hose, but the hose itself will remain hotter for longer after the engine is turned off because there is no where for the heat to escape.

Seeing how the radiator does the main job of radiating heat I would say wrapping them is more of a underhood heat issue. It seems like a smart choice I suppose. I have a 420a with header wrap, and the engine bay is much cooler.

could be the car in the video you saw had an external wg with a dump and was protecting it from the radiator hose. i would reccomend changing that hose out if it expanding unusually big.
