hello all. I'm new to this site but not to talons LOL. So to the problem, i have just purchased a 98 eagle talon esi for a daily driver. It did not run and got it fer a steal. after looking under the hood i noticed that the cam sensor plug had been cut and was missing. so i went to auto zone and got a pigtail and a new cam sensor, but the pig tail wires are different and my Haynes manual only help with the sensor but not the harness. so i need help figuring out where the three wires go. can anyone help? I've searched the web for pics or schematics but no such luck. if someone with a similar car could just take a picture of theirs that would help a lot, thanks in advance and when i start building the 90 talon awd tsi stroker project ill post pics and updates.

no it did not have a connector when i got it and the one i bought had diff color wires.
I'll take a pick so its easier to see.

oh here is the pics,

ok i cant figure out how to get the pics on here.

ok well i boght a shop manual and got the wiring fixed but still no start, i think i cross wired the new sensor and it may be bad now. ill find out when i get my volt meter back.

well i got the wiring fixed and car started and oil was shooting out everywhere. i think the head gasket may be backwards idk. now apon pulling parts off i noticed they put silicone on all the new gaskets. now also there is paint on all the cams and pullys and they dont line up with the factory timing marks, idk thats what i get when i buy a car fer cheap and idk if anyone who worked on this car b4 me knew what they were doing LOL.
