Ok I have a weird tranny in my car, I don't know what car its out of W5M33-2-MMZL and I have a 91 6bolt.

Now I used this tranny in my car, I took off the tranny to do a TOB and was bolting it up to find the REAR BELL HOUSING TRANNY MOUNTING BOLT can't go in because I have a thread part on the 6bolt and I can't get the bolt to grab into the transmission. I have included pics below to so the bolt i'm talkin bout.

So should I drill the bolts threads out or do I need that specific bolt?

Thanks

it is the tranny from my car, but its a replacement that a tranny shop installed under my warranty and I just noticed now the model number and looked it up to find its not from a USA car.

I'm asking is there suppose to be threads on the block and tranny here in the picture above. Cause I can't get any bolt I have thru there without it having a hard time.

Thanks
Kendel

the bolt should go through the back of the dowel on the block(the one that lines it to the tranny) just above where you have that bolt circled IIRC. If it is that bolt it should be an M10 x 1.25 and it will fit through the dowel into the tranny even though the block part locks threaded.

I still can't seem to get it in all the way. The part of the block is threaded and the tranny is thread but I have the bolt almost all the way it, it was super hard to tighten tho.

I also need the bottom have of a 1g or maybe a 2g A/C bracket to bolt my other driverside carrier bearing to bolt to. I only have 1 bolt in it cause the A/C bracket was removed.

regardless of which w5m33 you have, they all bolt up to both 6 and 7 bolt 4g63t's and maybe all 4g63's

double check to see if you have the right fasterner, and that everything is aligned properly.

I can't quite see from that picture too well.

its the bolt that goes thru the block into the tranny, Its the tab on the back of the motor on the flywheel side, the bracket extrodes from the block at this point and it threaded and it wont go thru all the way and I matched the bolt on the tranny its the pattern is different or something between the 91 6bolt and this weird MMZL tranny.

You are trying to use the wrong bolt as stated earlier. The bolt you need should have a 12 mm head on it. It does not thread into the block just the trans. Just dont use one that is too long it will bust through and push a chunk or aluminum into the trans

Yeah, it's a 12mm skinny and long bolt, not a thick one like the other tranny bolt.
