This is first time owning a DSM. I have searched this site for a picture of the 97-99 Turbo'd ECU wiring and cant find one. Im not talking about the PIN diagram either. I need an actual picture of the B-56 connector. I am beating my self up about this
.
The car is a 98 GSX M/T with a 95 EPROM with DSM Link. I was cleaning up the wiring for the AVC-R and noticed the job some one did. Now I want to fix it. Wires have been cut, extended and tapped into others. I know that the AVC-R doesn's connect to any of the wires im looking to fix, but I have a feeling that an SAFC was previously connected.
So heres the mess--
Pin 76 -White- O2 Sensor (Front) - This wire is still cut
Pin 78 -White- Knock Sensor - Confused about. (See Pic)
Pin 84 -Brwn/Red- Throttle Position Sensor - Has been reconnected to original wire
Pin 90 -Blue/Wellow- Volume Air Flow Sensor - Has been reconnected to original wire
Pin 91 -Blk- Park/Neutral Position Switch (AT Only) - This wire is still cut
So I know I can just reconnect Pin 76 wire (unless due to DSMLink I shouldnt) and I can reconnect Pin 91 (dont have an automatic so it shouldnt matter). Im confused with Pin 78. I uploaded a pic so if someone could help me out with a pic of a clean/non cut wire setup of the B-56 connector I would appreciate it. And also, any comments about the wire that are cut and I have reconnected or will reconnect would help if needed. Thanks again.
The 2nd pic is of the Pin 78 (the one im confused about). The white wire has been reconnected, but the bare wire that is with it is connected to a black wire WTF.
