Well I've been looking for other threads but no one really has a how to. I'm replacing the top on my spyder, we all know why. I'm not the best when it comes to upholstery, so I found a top in good condition with the frame attached and everything. My question is how do I take the entire top with the frame off of mine? I can imagine I can put it back on once I know how to take it off..

Pull the rear interior. (Seat and side panels). Don't forget that there is a screw behind the speaker cover holding the panel on. Then remove the speakers and their brackets for more room. Roll all the windows down so you don't break the glass or the plastic clips. Put your top in "manual" mode using the switch in the trunk. While you're back there, unplug the defrost wire. Now you're ready to remove the top. Have a friend help you as it is heavy and awkward to lift alone. Unplug the top motors (one on each side). Unbolt the 12mm bolts holding the motor brackets to the frame. Then lift the top assembly out. I usually retract the top when I do it, but that is up to you.

Got it figured out forgot to reply back. thanks everyone for the help. Its actually quite simple.
