2G 98 Eclipse GST, clutch going to the floor and staying

Does anybody have solutions or tests to run to diagnose the problem with my clutch staying on the floor and not coming back up?

Check for leaks at the master and slave cylinders. Does your master cylinder have fluid? Does the clutch rod move when you press the pedal in (you’ll have to pull it up first for this test)?

It’s likely the master cylinder gone out

Yes there is liquid in the master cylinder but barely above the minimum, so it’s very possible that there was a leak at some point but I feel like it would be all gone if there was and I’d have to check if the clutch rod moves soon when I go to work on the car, thank you

Not necessarily, it could leak only under certain conditions. Brake fluid doesn't usually evaporate into thin air. If air was introduced into the system, that could cause MC/SC operation issues.

Money says if you pull the boots from the mc/sc you'll see fluid. Probably a bit. Have a towel ready.
