97 GST Boost leak?

97 gst 14b turbo other than that its stock its hits about 10 psi then just starts to studder HARD is that boost leak or???? oh im thinkin its the blow off valve cause ill let off the gas and you can hear the intake pipes strain with air then the valve opens but why would it do that then the valve opens at a weak 10psi when driving. its a CX racing bov to my knowledge. its done this since put the 14b on. the car is winterized right now but id still like to have some insight.

if it was a boost leak im pretty sure u wouldnt be getting over 2000 rpms.. at least thats what happened with me..

check your blow off valve and your vaccum lines

will the car boost over 10psi? you should do a boost leak test to find out for sure. if its not a boost leak i would sheck your plugs and wires.

with no load you can rev it all day long so i dont think that its the plugs or wires off boost power isnt effected if you unhook the waste gate so its open you can drive it just fine the turbo wont stool untill about 5 grand though.

Do a blt to find out for sure then you will know the boost leak issue.

The question I have is are you getting full boost while barely moving?
If so you most likely have a boost leak, even a small one will cause problems, something might've wiggled loose. What this is is a boost leak which forces the car into "limp" mode. Easy fix.
There might be a possibility of a bad injector also. Although I'm doubting it.
Might check plug wires too, the order on the coil is 4123 and at the plugs is 1234.
Spark plugs could've been fouled from the increase in fuel being forced into the cylinders.
Definitely check the small things first to try to save yourself some money.
